In accordance with N.C.G.S. 130A-310.9(b) the Pre-Regulatory Landfill Unit in the N.C. Department of Environmental Quality’s Division of Waste Management is soliciting public comment on the proposed Remedial Action Plan to address environmental contamination (e.g. contaminated soil, sediment, surface water, etc.) at the pre-1983 landfill, Stedman Landfill (Site) located on Page Road in Stedman (Cumberland County).
DWM Solid Waste Section will host a digital public hearing to accept public comments on DRAFT Permit 7306-INDUS- Duke Energy's Mayo Steam Electric Plant, Ash Basin Landfill.
Public Comment Period on Draft Permit 7306-INDUS- begins on July 19, 2021 and ends on August 27, 2021.
