State Water Infrastructure Meeting will meet April 16 and 17 in Dobson, NC.
Governor Roy Cooper announced today that communities statewide will receive more than 238 million in water and wastewater infrastructure funding and stormwater planning grants to help pay for 114 projects in 52 counties statewide, including 28 construction projects.
The N.C. Sedimentation Control Commission will meet on Wednesday. Feb. 21, in the Ground Floor Hearing Room of the Archdale Building, located at 512 N. Salisbury Street in Raleigh.
The State Water Infrastructure Authority will meet Tuesday, Feb. 20, at the Steve Troxler Agricultural Sciences Center in Raleigh. The public may attend in-person or listen to the meeting online or by phone.

The North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality’s Division of Water Infrastructure is accepting public comment on an updated Project Priority List for Lead Service Line Replacement funding until January 5, 2024.

Applications for Lead Service Line Replacement funds are open year-round and will be awarded in four State Water Infrastructure Authority meetings each year (Sept. 19, 2023; Dec. 12, 2023; Feb. 2024 and April 2024).  Eligible applicants approved for funding receive a mix of zero interest loans and principal forgiveness.Lead Service Line Replacement Funding Application due dates: Jan. 5, March 1, June 7, Aug.
