NC DIVISION OF ENERGY, MINERAL, AND LAND RESOURCES INTENT TO ISSUE A STORMWATER DISCHARGE PERMIT  Public comment or objection to the draft permit is invited. Submit written comments to DEMLR at the address below.  All comments received prior to January 3, 2020 will be considered in the final determination regarding permit issuance and permit provisions.  Application: City of Newton, 401 Main Avenue, Newton, NC, has applied for an NPDES permit to discharge stormwater from their locations in Catawba County.
