The Department of Environmental Quality’s State Energy Office is accepting proposals for weatherization training and technical assistance projects, with $14.68 million in federal funding available.
Applications for loan and grant funding for drinking water, wastewater and stormwater (construction only) projects must be received by the Division no later than 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 30, 2024.
The N.C. Division of Coastal Management (DCM) is announcing the availability of approximately $3 million in funding to help local governments in 20 coastal counties improve public access to coastal beaches and waters for the 2024-25 fiscal year. The Public Beach and Coastal Waterfront Access program provides matching funds to local governments to construct low-cost public access facilities.
Applications for Lead Service Line Replacement funds are open year-round and will be awarded in four State Water Infrastructure Authority meetings each year (Sept. 19, 2023; Dec. 12, 2023; Feb. 2024 and April 2024). Eligible applicants approved for funding receive a mix of zero interest loans and principal forgiveness.
