North Carolina Secretaries’ Science Advisory Board

The state Secretaries’ Science Advisory Board will meet on Monday, October 3 in the Archdale Ground Floor Hearing room at 10am.  The public is invited to attend the meeting in-person or online.

Public hearing on proposed Water Supply-IV Critical Area reclassification of Teer Quarry and a section of the Eno River in Durham County

The North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) will hold a public hearing on Nov. 3, 2022, on the proposed Water Supply-IV Critical Area reclassification of Teer Quarry and a section of the Eno River in the Neuse River Basin. The public is invited to provide comment on the proposal at Durham Technical Community College’s Northern Durham Center, Building 1, Room 130, beginning at 6 p.m.

Standard Commercial Fishing License Eligibility Board Meeting

The N.C. Division of Marine Fisheries Standard Commercial Fishing License Eligibility Board will meet by teleconference at 10:30 a.m. Oct. 18. The board will consider license applications that are deemed complete and submitted by Sept. 12.
