The state Secretaries’ Science Advisory Board will meet on Monday, October 3 in the Archdale Ground Floor Hearing room at 10am.  The public is invited to attend the meeting in-person or online.

The North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) will hold a public hearing on Nov. 3, 2022, on the proposed Water Supply-IV Critical Area reclassification of Teer Quarry and a section of the Eno River in the Neuse River Basin. The public is invited to provide comment on the proposal at Durham Technical Community College’s Northern Durham Center, Building 1, Room 130, beginning at 6 p.m.
The N.C. Division of Marine Fisheries Standard Commercial Fishing License Eligibility Board will meet by teleconference at 10:30 a.m. Oct. 18. The board will consider license applications that are deemed complete and submitted by Sept. 12.

The Habitat and Water Quality Advisory Committee will meet at 6 p.m. on October 26, 2022.
The Shellfish/Crustacean Advisory Committee will meet at 6 p.m. on October 25, 2022.
The Finfish Advisory Committee will meet at 6 p.m. on October 20, 2022.
The Southern Regional Advisory Committee will meet at 6 p.m. on October 19, 2022.
The Northern Regional Advisory Committee will meet at 6 p.m. on October 18, 2022.

The Secretary’s Environmental Justice and Equity Advisory Board will hold its quarterly business meeting in-person on October 13 at 3 p.m. Members of the public are invited to attend in-person or online.
