February 9, 2021, 3pm

The North Carolina Oil and Gas Commission will meet virtually on Tuesday, February 9. The meeting will begin at 10 a.m. The public may join the meeting by computer or phone.

Groundwater Quality Standards Public Hearing

February 2, 2021, 11pm

Groundwater Quality Standards for the protection of groundwaters of the state are established by 15A NCAC 02L .0202. They are the maximum allowable concentrations resulting from any discharge of contaminants to the land or waters of the state, which may be tolerated without creating a threat to human health or which would otherwise render the groundwater unsuitable for its intended best usage as an existing or potential source of drinking water supply for humans.

Planning Effective Projects for Coastal Communities – Virtual Training

February 9, 2021, 1:30pm - February 11, 2021, 8pm

This workshop is led by trainer's from NOAA's Office for Coastal Management.



Bring your project idea to the training, you are encouraged to participate with your project team. 

Swine Biogas Public Meeting

January 26, 2021, 11pm

The Department of Environmental Quality Division of Water Resources (DWR) is providing public notice of a scheduled online public meeting and comment period concerning the applications for permits for four animal (swine) operations participating in a biogas processing project with Align RNG, LLC.

 

The permit modifications include three requests to install new in-ground, synthetically-lined and covered anaerobic digesters and one request to cover an existing synthetically-lined lagoon.

Access Grant Virtual Workshop Series for Local Governments

January 26, 2021, 2:30pm - 5pm

Registration priority is given to participants who work in North Carolina's 20 Coastal Counties. Workshop recordings will be made available for those interested who are not located in a coastal county.



You must register for each session separately. The sessions are designed to complement each other. Workshops will be hosted on Webex.
