EMS Module 2: Compliance Obligations, Aspect and Impact Identification and Ranking

The EMS Module Series is comprised of 7 one-day modules in which participants receive information and exercises based on ISO 14001:2015 in a group setting.  At the end of the series, members will have the framework for an EMS system ready to be implemented in their organization. EMS Module 2 is open to ESI Members only.

The N.C. Environmental Stewardship Initiative has developed the ISO 14001:2015 EMS Conversion Course to help ESI members and potential members update their EMS to meet the new version of the ISO 14001 standard.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Wilmington District (Corps) and the N.C. Division of Water Resources (DWR) have developed an online Pre-Construction Notification (PCN) form that can be used in lieu of the paper PCN form. This online form will be available for use by all applicants starting February 1, 2018. The Corps and DWR will hold three webinars to introduce the online PCN process, including a review of the PCN form, demonstrations of how to use the form, and a question/answer session.

Join the Albemarle-Pamlico National Estuary Partnership at the 2017 Albemarle-Pamlico Ecosystem Symposium. The one-day event will encourage stakeholder collaboration to develop more effective approaches to identifying, protecting, and restoring the significant resources of the Albemarle-Pamlico region. Its focus will be on emerging issues related to the human communities, water quality and quantity, and natural systems within watersheds that flow into our sounds.
