Public comment or objection to the draft permit is invited. All comments received by December 12, 2022, will be considered in the final determination regarding permit issuance and permit provisions.

The North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) will hold a public hearing on November 14, 2022 at 3:30 p.m. on the proposed adoption of Temporary Rules 15A NCAC 01T for the Aquatic Weed Fund, Shallow Draft Navigation Channel Dredging Fund, and Coastal Storm Damage Mitigation Fund.  The public is invited to provide comment on the proposal virtually via WebEx or in-person at the First Floor Training Room (Room 1210) in the Green Square Building, 217 West Jones Street, Raleigh, NC 27604, beginning at 3:30 p.m.
