The N.C. Division of Marine Fisheries has opened public comment on the Draft Estuarine Striped Bass Fishery Management Plan Amendment 2.

Three Marine Fisheries Commission advisory committees will meet to review and accept public comment on the draft amendment. The public may attend the advisory committee meetings and give public comment by web conference or in-person. Those who wish to speak during the public comment sessions must preregister by 5 p.m. the day prior to the meeting.

The following facility has applied for renewal of their NPDES permit to discharge stormwater from their location in Cleveland County: Duke Energy Carolinas, LLC, 526 South Church Street, Charlotte, NC 28202, has requested renewal of permit NCS000571 for the Rogers Energy Complex (Cliffside Steam Station) in Cleveland County. This facility discharges to Suck Creek in the Broad River Basin.
