Public Comment Period for White Oak River Basin Plan

The N.C. Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) Division of Water Resources (DWR) is requesting public comment for the 2021 White Oak River Basin Water Resources Plan. Basin plans help state and local leaders identify areas needing additional protection, restoration, or preservation to ensure waters of the state are meeting their designated use.

Environmental Management Commission (EMC) - July 13 Special Meeting

A special meeting of the NC Environmental Management Commission (EMC) is being announced for Tuesday, July 13, 2021, at 9 a.m. The meeting will be held in the Archdale Building in the Ground Floor Hearing Room, 512 N. Salisbury Street, Raleigh, North Carolina.

Limited seating for the public will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis. Members of the public are also invited to attend online or by phone. Face coverings are not required for those who are fully vaccinated.
