The N.C. Division of Marine Fisheries held a public hearing on proposed shellfish leases in Hyde County at 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 29, 2025. The hearing was conducted in person at the Hyde County Courthouse in Swan Quarter and virtually via Webex.

Public Comment Period for Pender County Shellfish Lease Hearing

November 22, 2021, 9am - January 14, 2022, 6pm

The N.C. Division of Marine Fisheries will hold a public hearing by webinar on proposed shellfish leases in Pender County at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 13.



Members of the public may comment on the proposed shellfish bottom lease application. Comments may be made orally during the hearing via web conference, or through an online form accessed via the link below. Also, sworn written comments may be submitted to the NC Division of Marine Fisheries up to 24 hours following the proceedings.
