Notice of Intent to Reissue NPDES General Wastewater Permit NCG590000

The North Carolina Environmental Management Commission proposes to reissue the following NPDES wastewater general permit:

NPDES General Permit No. NCG590000 for the discharge of drinking water system effluent (wastewaters) from greensand and conventional type water treatment facilities.

The North Carolina Division of Air Quality (DAQ) hereby gives notice of its intent to issue an Air Quality Permit to:Electric Glass Fiber America, LLC940 Washburn Switch RoadShelby, NC 28150Cleveland CountyApplication ID: 2300153.24A, Permit No.: 01958T71This facility applied for an Air Quality Title V Operation Permit which meets the requirements specified in 15A North Carolina Administrative Code 2Q.0500.EPA comment period begins on May 7, 2024 and will run through June 21, 2024.

The N.C. Department of Environmental Quality’s Division of Coastal Management (DCM) is now accepting public comments on the Coastal Resources Commission Science Panel’s draft Sea Level Rise update.  Public comments will be accepted until July 3, 2024, at 5 p.m.The draft Sea Level Rise Update is available for review online.
