Notice of Intent to Modify an NPDES General Wastewater Permit

The North Carolina Environmental Management Commission proposes to modify the following NPDES wastewater general permit:

NPDES General Permit No. NCG530000 for the discharge of treated wastewater resulting from seafood packing and rinsing operations, as well as from fish farms and hatcheries defined as concentrated aquatic animal production (CAAP) facilities

Draft Solid Waste Permit 0403-MSWLF-2010 Anson Landfill

Draft Permit 0403-MSWLF-2010 for horizontal expansion and vertical expansion to add additional capacity and to extend the life of the Anson Landfill located 375 Dozer Road, Polkton, Anson County, NC has been prepared. Public comment period on Draft Permit 0403-MSWLF-2010 begins on Wednesday, October 4, 2023, and ends at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, November 20, 2023.  A public hearing is scheduled for October 26, 2023, at 6:30 p.m. in the Anson County Courthouse, 114 North Greene Street, Wadesboro.
