The NC Division of Marine Fisheries will hold a public hearing on proposed shellfish leases in Hyde County at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, March 18, 2026. The public may participate in the meeting in person, online, or by telephone.

To facilitate electronic comment, the division is asking those who wish to speak online or by telephone during the meeting to pre-register by 4 p.m. Tuesday, March 17, 2026.
