In accordance with North Carolina General Statute § 130A-309.06(c), the North Carolina

Department of Environmental Quality’s (DEQ) Division of Waste Management (DWM) and

Division of Environmental Assistance and Customer Service (DEACS) are required to provide an

annual report on the status of solid waste management efforts in the State.
