This proclamation closes the following areas in New Hanover and Carteret Counties:  Middle Sound between Figure Eight Island Bridge and Wrightsville Beach Bridge, Pages Creek, Newport River, North River, and Whitehurst Creek.  

Effective Date: Shellfish Temporary Closures effective 7:50 A.M., Monday, July 4, 2022.
