This proclamation closes approximately 5 acres in Lockwoods Folly River in the A-3 Growing Area of Brunswick County, 1 acre in Masonboro Sound in the B-6 Growing Area of New Hanover County, 1 acre near Shinn Creek in the B-7 Growing Area of New Hanover County, 11 acres in Turkey Creek in the B-9 Growing Area of Onslow County, 2.5 acres along the Intracoastal Waterway in the C-1 Growing Area of Onslow County, and 4 acres in Queens Creek in the D-2 Growing Area of Onslow County.
This proclamation also opens approximately 27 acres in Lockwoods Folly River in the A-3 Growing Area of Brunswick County and 164 acres in Jordan and Slade Creeks in the G-8 Growing Area of Beaufort and Hyde Counties.

Effective Date: Effective at sunrise, Wednesday, March 4, 2026, this proclamation supersedes PA-PC-2-2025 and brings together in one document all areas which are permanently closed to shellfish harvesting.
