Intent to Issue NPDES Wastewater Discharge Permit No. NC0004944
Public comment or objection to the draft permit is invited. All comments received by June 1, 2026, will be considered in the final determination regarding permit issuance and permit provisions.
Permit Application:
SDC 26 WWTP, LLC, 5320 Old Pineville Rd., Charlotte, NC, has applied for renewal of its NPDES wastewater permit (NC0004944) for the SDC 26 WWTP, located at 7401 Statesville Blvd., Rowan County. The facility discharges industrial wastewater, sanitary wastewater, and stormwater to North Second Creek in the Yadkin-Pee Dee River Basin. Some parameters are water quality limited. This discharge may affect future allocations in this portion of the Yadkin-Pee Dee River Basin.
The location of Outfall 001 is: Latitude: 35°42’40”; Longitude: 80°36’10”.
