N.C. DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY INTENT TO ISSUE NPDES WASTEWATER DISCHARGE PERMIT #NC0004618
Public comment or objection to the draft permit is invited. All comments received by May 13, 2026, will be considered in the final determination regarding permit issuance and permit provisions.
Permit Application:
Phoenix Lumberton Industrial Investors, LLC, P.O. Box 1347, Lumberton, N.C., has applied for a Renewal of its NPDES wastewater permit (NC0004618) for Lumberton facility, 1885 Alamac Rd., Robeson County. The facility discharges industrial wastewater and stormwater to Lumber River in the Lumber River basin. Some parameters are water-quality limited. This discharge may affect future allocations in this portion of the Lumber River Basin.
