Notice of Intent to Issue an NPDES Wastewater Permit No. NC0090328 - 7th Street Mixed-Use Development
The North Carolina Environmental Management Commission proposes to issue an NPDES wastewater discharge permit to the person(s) listed below. Written comments regarding the proposed permit will be accepted until 30 days after the publication date of this notice. The Director of the NC Division of Water Resources (DWR) may hold a public hearing if there is a significant degree of public interest. Please mail comments and/or information requests to DWR at the address above. Interested persons may also visit DWR at 512 N. Salisbury Street, Raleigh, NC 27604, to review the information on file. CRD Elizabeth LLC [225 W Hubbard 4th Floor, Chicago, IL 60654] has requested modification of permit NC0090328 for 7th Street Mixed-Use Development, located in Mecklenburg County. This permitted facility discharges treated groundwater into an unnamed tributary to Little Sugar Creek in the Catawba River Basin. Currently, benzene and tetrachloroethylene are water quality limited. This discharge may affect future allocations in this segment of the receiving stream. Comments will be accepted up 30 days from the date this notice is published.
