The Division of Energy, Mineral, and Land Resources (DEMLR) invites public comment on, or objections to, the following NPDES Stormwater Individual Permit to be issued. Persons wishing to comment on or object to the draft permit may submit comments to Brianna Young (Attn: DEMLR Stormwater Program) during the public comment period. Written comments may be submitted to the address at end of this message.
All comments received through June 10, 2024, will be considered in the final determinations regarding permit issuance and permit provisions. Public comments may result in changes to the proposed permitting actions.
The following facility has applied a new NPDES permit to discharge stormwater from their location in Burke County:

Hexion, Inc., 114 Industrial Boulevard, Morganton, NC 28655 has requested new coverage under permit NCS000332 for the Hexion, Inc., - Morganton Facility in Burke County. This facility proposes to discharge to an unnamed tributary to Little Silver Creek in the Catawba River Basin
All comments should reference permit number NCS000332.
