The Division of Energy, Mineral, and Land Resources (DEMLR) invites public comment on, or objections to, the following NPDES Stormwater Individual Permit to be revised and re-issued. Persons wishing to comment on or object to the draft permit may submit comments to Brianna Young (Attn: DEMLR Stormwater Program) during the public comment period. Written comments may be submitted to the address at end of this message.

All comments received through September 29, 2023, will be considered in the final determinations regarding permit issuance and permit provisions. Public comments may result in changes to the proposed permitting actions.

The following facility has applied for renewal of their NPDES permit to discharge stormwater from their location in Wake County:

Matheson Tri-Gas, Inc., 1700 Scepter Road, Waverly, TN 37185 has requested renewal of permit NCS000462 for the Matheson - Wake Forest ASU facility in Wake County. This facility discharges to an unnamed tributary to Smith Creek in the Neuse River Basin.

All comments should reference permit number NCS000462.
