The Division of Energy, Mineral, and Land Resources (DEMLR) invites public comment on, or objections to, the following NPDES Stormwater Individual Permit to be issued. Persons wishing to comment on or object to the draft permit may submit comments to Brianna Young (Attn: DEMLR Stormwater Program) during the public comment period. Written comments may be submitted to the address at end of this message.

All comments received through March 8, 2024, will be considered in the final determinations regarding permit issuance and permit provisions. Public comments may result in changes to the proposed permitting actions.

The following facility has applied a new NPDES permit to discharge stormwater from their location in Wake County:

Raleigh Durham Airport Authority, PO Box 80001, Raleigh, NC 27623-80001 has requested new permit NCS000588 for the Raleigh Durham International Airport in Wake County. This facility discharges to Brier Creek Reservoir and unnamed tributaries to Brier Creek, Little Brier Creek, Sycamore Creek, and Haleys Branch all of which are in the Neuse River Basin.

All comments should reference permit number NCS000588.
