Public Comment Period for NPDES Stormwater Permit NCS000613 for the International Tie Disposal, LLC - Project Tie in Richmond County

The Division of Energy, Mineral, and Land Resources (DEMLR) invites public comment on, or objections to, the following NPDES Stormwater Individual Permit to be issued. Persons wishing to comment on or object to the draft permit may submit comments to Brianna Young (Attn: DEMLR Stormwater Program) during the public comment period. Written comments may be submitted to the address at end of this message. 

All comments received through November 30, 2023, will be considered in the final determinations regarding permit issuance and permit provisions. Public comments may result in changes to the proposed permitting actions.

The following facility has applied a new NPDES permit to discharge stormwater from their location in Richmond County:

• International Tie Disposal, LLC, 13700 Providence Road, Weddington, NC  28104 has requested new permit NCS000613 for the International Tie Disposal, LLC - Project Tie in Richmond County. This facility discharges to an unnamed tributary to Mill Creek in the Lumber River Basin.

All comments should reference permit number NCS000613.
