N.C. DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY INTENT TO ISSUE NPDES WASTEWATER DISCHARGE PERMIT #NC0063029
Public comment or objection to the draft permit modification is invited. All comments received by July 17, 2023, will be considered in the final determination regarding permit issuance and permit provisions.
PERMIT APPLICATION
Camp Lejeune, 12 Post lane, Room 244, Camp Lejeune, N.C., has applied for a modification of its NPDES wastewater permit (NC0063029) for Camp Lejeune Advanced WWTP, Building FC440, Gonzales Blvd., Marine Camp Base, Camp Lejeune, Onslow County. The facility discharges treated domestic wastewater, landfill leachate, and remediation systems discharge to New River in the White Oak River basin. Some of the parameters are water quality limited. This discharge may affect future allocations in this portion of the White Oak River basin. The location of Outfall 001 is: Latitude: 34038’55”; Longitude: 77020’30".
