Notice of Intent to Issue a Special Order by Consent for NC0064246, Pace Mobile Home Park. The North Carolina Environmental Management Commission proposes to issue a Special Order by Consent with the person(s) listed below.
Public notice of intent to issue a State Consent Order to the following: Jones Estates Pace LLC (P.O. Box 14466, Durham, NC 27709) has requested Special Order by Consent No. S22-004 for Pace Mobile Home Park, a 15,000 GPD wastewater treatment facility under the authority of discharge permit NC0064246. The Pace Mobile Home Park discharges treated wastewater to an unnamed tributary to Buffalo Creek in the Neuse River Basin. The Environmental Management Commission proposes to issue the Order per Article 21 of Chapter 143, N.C. General Statutes, and other regulations effective June 9, 2023.
Compliance with this Order will require Jones Estates Pace LLC to complete construction to upgrade and repair the treatment system. Jones Estates Pace LLC shall comply with the NPDES permit limits with the exception of the interim limits and monitoring identified in the Order. This Order will expire on February 15, 2024. Comments on the proposed Order received no later than 30 days after the publish date of this notice will be considered in the final determination. A public meeting may be held if there is a significant degree of public interest.
