The N.C. Department of Environmental Quality’s Division of Air Quality (DAQ) will hold a public hearing and is accepting public comment on a draft air quality permit for Stericycle, Inc.
The in-person public hearing is scheduled for 6 p.m. on Aug. 22. Live Spanish interpretation will be available during the public hearing.
Public comments will be accepted from July 20 through Aug. 25, 2023.

Stericycle, Inc. has applied to the North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality, Division of Air Quality for renewal of their Title V permit at:

Alamance County
Stericycle, Inc.'s application was reviewed by the Division of Air Quality, Raleigh Central Office to determine compliance with the requirements of the North Carolina Environmental Management Commission air pollution regulations. The results of that review led to the preliminary determination that the project could be approved and the Division of Air Quality permit could be issued, if certain permit conditions are met.
This notice serves as a Notice of Public Hearing and Opportunity for Public Comment for this proposal.
