Public notice of intent to issue an amendment to a State Consent Order to the following:
The Town of Edenton (P.O. Box 300, Edenton, North Carolina 27932) has requested Special Order by Consent WQ S17-001 Ad. I for its Town of Edenton WWTF, a 1,076,000 GPD wastewater irrigation facility operating under the authority of Non-Discharge permit WQ0004332, to allow modified yearly Non-Discharge application limits.
The Environmental Management Commission proposes to issue the amended Order per Article 21 of Chapter 143, N.C. General Statutes, and other regulations effective November 1, 2019.
Compliance with this amended Order requires installation of necessary treatment components to the existing facility. The Town of Edenton shall comply with Non-Discharge permit limits with the exception of the interim limitations identified in the amended Order. This amended Order will expire on February 1, 2024.

Comments on the proposed amended Order received no later than October 21, 2019 will be considered in the final determination.
