RE: First Clean Energy Plan Development Workshop on Feb. 25

The North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality will hold a series of stakeholder engagement workshops for the development of the state’s Clean Energy Plan.  The first workshop will be held on February 25 in Raleigh.

Since workshop seating will be limited, interested individuals must submit the request to participate form by Wednesday, Feb. 20 to ensure a productive work session.  We encourage organizations to nominate participants familiar with the electric power sector to represent their constituents.  Emails will be sent out before each scheduled workshop to confirm attendance.

Future workshops are scheduled for April 1, April 22, May 22, June 26, and July 24, 2019 in Raleigh with additional public sessions to be scheduled across the state.

An informational webinar on the Clean Energy Plan workshop process will be held on Feb. 20 at 3:30 p.m.
