The North Carolina Environmental Management Commission will meet May 8-9 in the Ground Floor Hearing Room of the Archdale Building in Raleigh. Members of the public may attend in-person or join the meeting by computer or phone.

The Department of Environmental Quality’s State Energy Office is accepting proposals for weatherization training and technical assistance projects, with $14.68 million in federal funding available.

The N.C. Coastal Resources Commission (CRC) Science Panel is scheduled to meet via web conference on May 1 at 2 p.m. to continue its review of Inlet Hazard Area boundaries. The public may listen to the meeting by computer or phone.

The N.C. Marine Fisheries Commission and N.C. Wildlife Resources Commission are accepting public comments on temporary rules to implement mandatory harvest reporting requirements passed by the N.C. General Assembly in Session Law 2023-137, Section 6. The comment period will close at 5 p.m. May 20, 2024.

The Coastal Resources Advisory Council (CRAC) will meet April 24 at 1 p.m. at the same location. This meeting will be in person only.

The N.C. Source Water Collaborative – a statewide drinking water protection group – has announced the winners of the Source Water Protection Awards during the Water Resources Research Institute’s annual conference, held last month.
