The N.C. Division of Marine Fisheries is accepting sworn written public comments on proposed shellfish lease applications in Onslow County until 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 13, 2026 (24 hours after the conclusion of the public hearing on Feb. 12, 2026).

The public hearing on these proposed leases will be held Thursday, Feb. 12, 2026, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Holly Ridge Community Center, 404 Sound Rd, Holly Ridge, NC 28445, and by Webex.
