Juvenile Striped Bass Survey

Hop aboard with Marine Fisheries Biologists as they track juvenile fish inhabiting the Albemarle Sound. In this video technicians use large nets called seins to sample small fish along the shore, and biologists use a trawl for slightly larger fish in deeper water. Biologists have been sampling fish across the Ablemarle Sound and it's tributaries, collecting data at least every month from June through October to track fish populations since 1972.
