Notice is hereby given in accordance with G.S. 150B-21.2 that the Environmental Management Commission intends to amend the rules cited as 15A NCAC 02B .0219, and .0226.

The North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality Division of Water Resources (DWR) will hold a public hearing on April 22 to hear public comment on proposed changes to North Carolina’s surface water quality standards.

This facility will discharge to the Broad River in the Broad River Basin. Currently fecal coliform and total residual chlorine are water quality limited. Currently, Total Residual Chlorine is water quality limited. This discharge may affect future waste load allocations in this portion of the receiving stream.
