Carteret County Shellfish Lease Hearing – March 13, 2025

The N.C. Division of Marine Fisheries held a public hearing on proposed shellfish leases in Carteret County at 6 p.m. Thursday, March 13, 2025. The hearing was conducted in person at the division’s Central District Office in Morehead City and virtually via Webex.

Onslow County Shellfish Lease Hearing — April 22, 2025

The N.C. Division of Marine Fisheries will hold a public hearing on proposed shellfish leases in Onslow County at 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 22, 2025. The hearing will be conducted both in person at the Holly Ridge Community Center, 404 Sound Road, Holly Ridge, North Carolina 28445, and virtually via Webex.

Public Comment Period for New Hanover County Shellfish Lease Hearing

November 22, 2021, 9am - January 6, 2022, 6pm
The N.C. Division of Marine Fisheries will hold a public hearing by webinar on proposed shellfish leases in New Hanover County at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 5.

Members of the public may comment on the proposed shellfish bottom lease application. Comments may be made orally during the hearing via web conference, or through an online form accessed via the link below. Also, sworn written comments may be submitted to the NC Division of Marine Fisheries up to 24 hours following the proceedings.

Summary of Notice of Intent to Remediate a Dry-Cleaning Solvent Facility or Abandoned Site - Glam-O-Rama (Johnston County)

Pursuant to N.C.G.S. §143-215.104L, on behalf of Baekim LLC, the North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality’s (NCDEQ’s) private contractor has prepared a Notice of Intent to Remediate a Dry-Cleaning Solvent Facility or Abandoned Site (NOI). The purpose of this Summary of the NOI is to notify the community of the proposed remedy for the contamination site and invite comment on the proposed remedy.
