NC DOT has requested an emergency CAMA permit be issued pursuant to G.S. 113A-118(f) to address Prices Creek/SR 1528/East Moore Street in Southport in Brunswick County. This portion of culvert was damaged beyond repair and the roadway was washed out as a result of the PTC 8 storm on September 15-16, 2024.  NC DOT is proposing to replace the damaged culvert with a single span bridge.
