The Division of Energy, Mineral, and Land Resources (DEMLR) invites public comment on, or objections to, the following NPDES Stormwater Individual Permit to be revised and re-issued. Persons wishing to comment on or object to the draft permit may submit comments to Brianna Young (Attn: DEMLR Stormwater Program) during the public comment period. Written comments may be submitted to the address at end of this message.

All comments received through May 26, 2023, will be considered in the final determinations regarding permit issuance and permit provisions. Public comments may result in changes to the proposed permitting actions.

The following facility has applied for renewal of their NPDES permit to discharge stormwater from their location in New Hanover County:

The Corning Incorporated, P310 North College Road, Wilmington, NC 28405 has requested renewal of permit NCS000076 for Wilmington Fiber Optic facility in New Hanover County. This facility discharges to Spring Branch in the White Oak River Basin. .

All comments should reference permit number NCS000076.
