Air Quality Permitting

The Division of Air Quality (DAQ) currently permits three compressor stations in North Carolina associated with this pipeline: Station 150, Station 155, and Station 160. The Southeast Supply Enhancement Project will involve upgrades at Station 150 and Station 155 that require modifications to the air quality permits at those sites. No revisions to Station 160 are anticipated.

DAQ received applications to modify the air quality permits at stations 150 and 155 on April 22, 2025. Both applications are under review by the Division. On Oct. 7, 2025, DAQ announced public comment periods to receive public feedback on the proposed draft modifications to the permits for both compressor station. DAQ also scheduled two public hearings to receive comments on the draft air quality permits. Public comments on both draft permits will be accepted until Nov. 19, 2025.
