The Division of Water Infrastructure’s application deadline for the Fall 2022 round of drinking water, wastewater and stormwater infrastructure project funding is Sept. 30, 2022, no later than 5:00 p.m.
All applications must be completely submitted and received via the Division’s online submittal portal by 5:00 p.m. on Sept. 30, 2022

Governor Roy Cooper announced today that communities statewide will receive a record $789.4 million in water and wastewater infrastructure funding to help pay for 385 projects statewide, including 140 construction projects.

The North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality’s Division of Water Infrastructure will be awarding $789.4 million in grant and loan funding to help pay for 385 drinking water and wastewater projects statewide, including 140 construction projects. The awards approved by the State Water Infrastructure Authority this week include funding from the state’s allocation of the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) as well as additional funds awarded in the state budget signed on Monday.
