The N.C. Division of Marine Fisheries held a public hearing on proposed shellfish leases in Pender County at 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 15, 2025. The hearing was conducted in person at the Topsail Beach Town Hall in Topsail Beach and virtually via Webex.
The N.C. Division of Marine Fisheries will hold a public hearing by webinar on proposed shellfish leases in New Hanover County at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 5.Members of the public may comment on the proposed shellfish bottom lease application. Comments may be made orally during the hearing via web conference, or through an online form accessed via the link below. Also, sworn written comments may be submitted to the NC Division of Marine Fisheries up to 24 hours following the proceedings.
Purpose: To receive comments on the proposed amendments and adoption of the NOx SIP Call Rules. Also, to receive comment on the accompanying fiscal note for the proposed amendments and adoptions.
On September 9, 2021, the Environmental Management Commission (EMC) approved proceeding to public comment on the NOx SIP Call Rules and fiscal note.
There are a total of four rules going to public comment: 15A NCAC 02D .1401, .1402, .1424, and .1425.

The requested Class II permit modification will allow GE to add three additional recovery wells to the existing Remedial Action System (RAS) network.
