All comments received by August 30, 2024, will be considered in the final determination regarding permit issuance and permit provisions. PERMIT APPLICATION Blue Ridge Paper Products, Inc., P.O. Box 400, Canton, N.C., has applied for a Major Modification of its NPDES wastewater permit (NC0000272) for Canton Mill, 175 Main Street, Canton, Haywood County. The facility discharges treated industrial and municipal wastewater to Pigeon River, French Broad River Basin. Some parameters are water quality limited. This discharge may affect future allocations in this portion of the French Broad River basin. The location of Outfall 001 is: Latitude: 35032’08"; Longitude: 82050’42".
