The North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality has launched a new online construction stormwater (NCG01/NCG25) permit application for the Division of Energy, Mineral, and Land Resources (DEMLR).

The North Carolina Drought Management Advisory Council classified eight counties in eastern North Carolina as experiencing severe drought, or D2 conditions, in the latest advisory issued Thursday.
