The N.C. Division of Marine Fisheries will hold a public hearing on a proposed shellfish lease in Dare County at 6 p.m. Sept. 12 at the Hatteras Village Community Center, 57689 NC Highway 12, Hatteras.

Concentrations of GenX in finished drinking water along the Cape Fear River remain well below the state’s health goal, according to the latest test results released today.
