Multifamily Recycling Grant

The Multifamily Recycling Grant program is now closed and no longer accepting applications.

This grant program offered funding to build lasting capacity to recycle traditional household materials (paper, cardboard, metal cans, glass and plastic bottles and containers) from multifamily residences. Funding for this program ended in late 2025. Proposed projects to expand or improve recycling at multifamily residences may still be eligible for funding through:

• The Community Waste Reduction and Recycling Grant program for local governments; or
• The Recycling Business Development Grant program for recycling businesses or nonprofits.
