Smart Storage Toolkit

Properly storing groceries helps them last longer, saving consumers money while reducing waste. The N.C. Division of Environmental Assistance and Customer Service (DEACS) has developed a set of ready-to-use social media posts to educate the public about reducing food waste at home. The Smart Stroage Toolkit provides a variety of fresh food tips and compliments the Use the Food NC Storage Guide. DEACS encourages local governments, organizations and interested individuals to use and share these tips to #UseTheFoodNC.
