ESI NCDEQ Regulatory Roundtable

Join the ESI program for our first Regulatory Roundtable event. At this ESI members event you will be able to hear with from and engage with DEQ leadership from the Division of Air Quality, Division of Water Resources, Division of Waste Management, Division of Energy, Mineral, and Land Resources. Topic: Energy and GHG series: Lower Compressed Air Costs through Leak Detection

Up to 30 % of electricity consumed by the manufacturing sector can be attributed to compressed air usage. Air compressors are inherently inefficient and over time air loss and leaks can add to energy costs and equipment wear (due to excessive compressor cycling). In this webinar staff from Compressed Air Best Practices® will review air leak detection programs and staff from Hyster-Yale Materials Handling, Inc. will highlight the savings realized by their compressed air management program.
