Multifamily Recycling
Approximately 1 in 5 North Carolinians live in multifamily residential units and many do not have convenient access to recycling. DEACS is encouraging the expansion of recycling services to multifamily properties to provide equitable access, meet resident demand, and redirect more recyclable material back into the circular economy.
DEACS also offers ready-made educational materials to inform residents about the recycling program.
